Leek sprouts are absolutely identical to onion sprouts, both visually and in taste, yet leek sprouts are much easier to grow than onion sprouts.

Why is it so much easier to grow leek sprouts than onion sprouts... only the gods know. Leek sprouts simply come out much nicer than onion sprouts. Like onions, leeks belong to the onion family.

Leeks:

• have a high content of vitamin K
• have a high content of iron, phosphorus, sulfur, magnesium
• and provide you with a lot of calcium
