In Ancient Greece, Barley was known as a sacred plant.
The strong gladiators called it "the marrow of virility", because the strengthening & restorative effect of this plant is so noticeable.
Just like wheat, barley is great to soak overnight in our special jars and should be left to germinate for 2-3 days.
Since our barley still has the protective husk around the seed, it is mainly suitable for growing barley grass.
When consumed as a fresh grass juice, it has strong healing & anti-inflammatory effects.
